Dr. Shaw grew up in Vienna and McLean. After completing her homeschool education she earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Marymount University in Arlington and her veterinary degree from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She was voted “Most Compassionate” by her fellow veterinarians in the Class of 2018 (Go Green!)

In her spare time Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with her family and friends and orange tabby Desmond, traveling, playing board games, cheering for the Washington Nationals, and attending Renaissance Faires. Huzzah!

She feels blessed and happy to be practicing in her hometown.
