Dr. Drees grew up in Wisconsin where he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. He then moved to Michigan to attend Michigan State University’s school of veterinary medicine.  During his time there, he volunteered in the MSU wildlife rehabilitation ward until he graduated in 2019. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Vienna where he lives with his orange tabby cat Desmond.  

In his free time, he enjoys sitting around a campfire, canoeing, going to baseball games, and Renaissance Faires.
