Dr. Pickard is the latest addition to the Vienna Animal Hospital Staff. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of the Philippines in 1987 and has been practicing in Northern Virginia for 20 years. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Dr. Pickard enjoys various aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in internal and emergency medicine as well as behavioral medicine. One of her main strengths is nurturing the human-animal bond. Dr. Pickard has a love for hounds and her beagle Tycoon, often joins her at work.

In her spare time, Dr. Pickard is an avid reader, a regular Zumba dancer, and plays the piano. Born and raised in the Philippines, she belongs to various Asian American organizations. She lives in Fairfax with her husband, Al, and their children Carl and Mackenzie.
